A.  Normally a plumbing problem is self-evident. Broken pipes spray, faucets drip, drains clog up. If your situation is out of the "norm" you probably have a plumbing problem.

A.  The tool of choice for "most" people is a plunger.

Q.  "There are alot of plunger's out there, which is the best one?"
A.  Buy a professional grade plunger. Plunger's that have a reserve cup, or "snout" added to the front of the main cup are best.

Q.  "Why does the faucet make a loud clunking noise when I turn it on?"
A.  When you hear a clunk in any pipe when turning the faucet on or off 99% of the time it's a loose washer in the faucet.

Q.  "When do I need a plumbing permit?"
A.  If any gas piping work is done, converting your heating source (changing from oil to gas) also, whenever new or old fixtures are installed or replaced.

Q.  "Why does my toilet run?"
A.  Because the flapper is worn out and needs replacing.
